Variety’s record-setting Radiothon best ever in BC

The 12th annual Variety – The Children’s Charity Radiothon has wrapped up.

Over a very busy two days, people like you donated $77,346.35 and 352 buddy bears.

This is the highest funding Radiothon in Variety BC history.

Producer Gene Bridges says it went right down to the wire.

“I really thought of it as a miracle that enough people got motivated by the fact that we were not going to make it if we didn’t get more help, that they jumped up there and did all they could do to make it happen. I’m so appreciative of donours in the Prince George / Vanderhoof area.”

He has a message for everyone who contributed.

“Thank you very much so, but also, we’ll keep our promise. We say we will use this money to help local children, and we will.”

All the money will stay within the area to help to local children with special health needs and their families.

Even though the event is over, you can still donate online.
