Aboriginal Business Match BC North kicks off in Prince George Monday

The Aboriginal Business Match BC North starts Monday.

The networking event helps bring aboriginal and non-aboriginal companies together and discuss things like joint-venture opportunities, training collaboration, and cross-marketing initiatives.

Event spokesperson Partner Katrin Harry says discussed over the next few days will bring more jobs to the area.

“Number one, it makes businesses stronger so when we look at the supply chain, especially in an economy that faces some challenges right now, it makes businesses more competitive and that then results in more diversified business opportunities,” she says.

There will be about 45 business at the match, half of which are local.

It’ll be at the Civic Centre until Wednesday.
