Spruce Kings head east for scoring punch

The Prince George Spruce Kings have added another forward to their group for the upcoming season.

19 year old Jamie Huber has joined the Spruce Kings from the Listowel Cyclones of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League in return for future considerations.

Huber potted 33 goals and 47 assists for the Cyclones in just 49 games during the 2015-16 season.

He will join the rest of his teammates for training camp on August 25th.

Meanwhile, the Spruce Kings have finally confirmed a number of transactions.

They dealt 20 year old forward Connor Logan to The Battlefords North Stars of the SJHL in return
for future considerations.

The Spruce Kings sent 19 year old forward Nic Ponak to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.

In addition, P.G. traded 19 year old forward Jordan Funk to The Kindersley Klippers of the SJHL for
for future considerations.
