You gotta catch’em all, PG Public Library to offer Pokemon GO tours

Pokemon GO walking tours will be offered at the PG Public Library for a good chunk of the summer.

Teen Librarian, Darcie Smith believes the new program will benefit them in more way than one.

“Through these tours, we are able to reach out to an underserved young adult demographic and it also increases our visibility with an additional street presence through our traditional library programs.”

Smith adds the tour will have no shortage of locations. “We’ll start and end at the library and will go through downtown since there is 16 Pokespots where you can get items.”

The tours kick off on Wednesday and run until August 24th.

It’s geared towards increasing your Pokemon trainer experience and to gain more knowledge on the city’s downtown historical sites.
