Canfor to host free pancake breakfast downtownon Saturday

Do pancakes taste better when they’re free? You’ll have an opportunity to find out on Saturday.

“Canfor’s hosting a community pancake breakfast,” says Canfor spokesperson Corrine Stavness. “It’s free for anyone who would like to come, starting at 8:30 right downtown on George Street between Patricia Boulevard and 7th Avenue.”

Stavness says they’ve been hosting the community appreciation event since the company’s 75th anniversary in 2013.

“It’s just a small way for Canfor to say thanks to the community and everything they do to support our company.”

There will be Canfor swag bags for the first 100 people to show up and goodies for the kids as well.
