The new total sits at 210 compared to 165 from the same period last year.

“Kamloops for example housing starts are up 55% with 370 starts compared to 239 in the first seven months last year. It is a similar story in Vernon thanks to a big boost which puts them at 373.”
Housing starts in BC’s Urban Areas came in at 43,143 in July which is an increase from the 41,485 units in June.
