Chair Rick Pattie of the 2016 Ramada World Baseball Challenge is hoping for an attendance spike for the second half of the tournament.
Pattie adds fans shouldn’t wait for the two medal games on Saturday.
“I wouldn’t wait too long if I was them because we have seen a lot of pre-sales for the bronze and gold medal games, you might want to get down here as were open from 10 o’clock in the morning and we would be happy to sell you some tickets for some great baseball.”
He says they are close to their attendance goal of 500 fans per game but would like to see the stands a little more full.
Games continue at 4 and 8PM daily throughout the week.
