Youth football equipment stolen

The Prince George RCMP is asking the public for help in locating the people responsible for the theft of youth football equipment.

On September 15th, police received a report of a theft from a “C-Can” storage container, located on the sports field next to Masich Place Stadium and just below Prince George Secondary School. A long list of football equipment was stolen including:

· Helmets
· Footballs
· Protective pads
· First aid kits
· Ice packs
· Agility ladders
· Coaching bags
· Throwing net
· Stationary supplies

Investigators believe the container was broken into during the evening of September 14th or early morning of the 15th. The people responsible would have had to spend a considerable amount of time in the area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300.
