The Prince George School District remains tight lipped following the sudden departure of one of their assistant superintendents.

Lisa Carson has abruptly resigned. According to her LinkedIn profile she has held the post for over five years.

SD 57 Vice Chair Tim Bennett confirmed the news, but declined to comment saying it remains an HR issue.

Superintendent of Schools Marilyn Marquis-Forster was in the same boat, “we don’t discuss personal matters of course – but whenever someone makes a personal/professional decision to move on we wish that person every success.”

“In this case, that is no different.”

Formerly retired assistant superintendent John McClay will be filling the role on an interim basis until the end of December. Marquis-Forster says there “will be a competition” for Carson’s replacement.
