A pedestrian from Prince George died after being hit by a vehicle in Quesnel Thursday night.
Quesnel RCMP have confirmed that a PG man was struck by a southbound vehicle on Highway 97 near Juniper Road at around 8:14pm.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at G.R. Baker Hospital.
RCMP say they received reports of the victim impeding traffic prior to the accident.
They also talked to the driver of the vehicle and charges are not expected.
