The Northern Capitals began their midget female hockey season with a 4-0 blanking over the Kootenay Wild on Friday.
Victoria Johnston, Caily Mellott and Danielle Corrigan netted a pair in the victory.
Both teams play again at 1PM on Saturday.
This is the first showcase for female midget hockey in the province which is being held in Surrey.
