The UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team arguably had their best home effort of the season but it was not enough to beat the Alberta Pandas on Sunday at the NCSSL fields in Prince George.
Sydney Daines scored her second goal in as many games against UNBC to come away with the 1-0 victory for Alberta.
Shots on goal were 7-3 for the Pandas.
Lianna Toopitsin made 6 saves in defeat for the 0-10 Timberwolves.
Both UNBC soccer teams are at for Senior weekend when the women play host to Thompson River and UBCO Friday and Sunday while men welcome Victoria Saturday and Sunday.
