Pizza delivery driver robbed in Quesnel

The Quesnel pizza delivery driver was robbed Thursday night.

At about 8:45pm, police were called to Bowron Avenue in North Quesnel where a delivery driver was trying to bring a pizza to a home when he was met by a man on the street.

It is alleged this man pulled a can of bear spray and demanded the delivery driver’s money. He also stole the pizza.

The suspect fled on foot in the alley south of Bowron Avenue between Front Street and McLean Street.

The delivery driver was not harmed in this instance and was able to provide police with a description of the man;
