Despite not having their annual Senior Day ceremonies at home this weekend all was not lost for the UNBC Timberwolves soccer teams.
The UNBC men triumphed to a 5-2 road victory against the Victoria Vikes on Sunday.
Francesco Bartolilo netted a pair of goals in the first half to give the T-Wolves a 2-1 lead at half-time while Paulo Dait responded for Victoria.
UNBC continued to push the pace in the second half rippling the onion bag three more times courtesy of Owen Stewart, Tofa Fakunle and Bartolilo completing the hat-trick.
Isaac Koch replied for Victoria in the last 45 minutes.
Timberwolves outshot the Vikes 12-3 and improve to 4-8-1 on the season while Victoria falls to 3-9-1.
Both teams play again on Monday in Victoria.

On the women’s side UNBC battled to a 1-1 draw against UBCO on Sunday morning.
Maddy Doucette notched her first career CIS goal while Susan Traynor replied for the Heat.
Shanna Olson made 8 saves for UNBC in her first career start in net.
The Timberwolves travel to Calgary next weekend to play Mount Royal on Saturday and Sunday.
