Search on for overdue hunters in Quesnel

UPDATE: Both the boy and his step-father have been found.

The search is on for an overdue hunter and his step-son in Quesnel.

On Sunday Oct, 30th police were alerted of 55 year old Glen Brooker and his 10 year old step-son, who had failed to return from their day hunting trip. Brooker left to hunt the area of Stoney or Narrow Lake northeast of Quesnel on Oct 29th and failed to return home that night as planned.

Brooker is driving a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup BC Plate 8413KR, pulling a grey and green Kingfisher riverboat.The boat may be being on the lakes or waterways in the area. The pair also had their chocolate lab dog with them.

Quesnel RCMP and the Quesnel and Prince George Search and Rescue teams have been activated and are actively searching the area for the hunters.

If anyone of the pubic was in the area of Narrow Lake / Stoney Lake over the weekend and happened to see Brooker or his young step-son, the dog, the truck or the boat, is asked to please call the Quesnel RCMP at (250) 992-9211 with any information as soon as possible.
