Missing hunters found

There is a happy ending to the search for two missing hunters in the Quesnel area.

RCMP have confirmed that 55-year old Glen Brooker and his 10-year old step-son have been located safe and sound thanks to the help of a helicopter operated by Dunkley Lumber.

They were found just before noon near Haggen Creek.

RCMP say the hunter’s vehicle experienced mechanical issues on a very remote road forcing them to stay out longer than the one day that they expected.

Both individuals are said to be in good spirits.

RCMP would like to thank the Search and Rescue agencies that were involved in the search efforts as well as Dunkley Lumber and all of the volunteers who rallied together to assist in locating the two hunters.
