Early crashes rule the morning in Prince George

Wednesday morning has been a rough one on Prince George roads.

Several accidents have taken place including two in the same area according to RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass.

“There have been two collisions on Foothills Bridge and another by Foothills on Cranbrook Hill Road. We are asking people to avoid Foothills and anybody driving today to slow down and takes the time as the roads are pretty icy.”

Another collision is being reported on Highway 16 East which is considered a high collision area during the winter according to Douglass.

“Notoriously in the winter that is a slippery section of highway and we normally have some bad collisions there during the winter so it does not surprise me.”
