The heating and ventilation system at College Heights Secondary School in Prince George is getting a $125,000 facelift.
The upgrades are just the tip of the ice berg according to School District 57 Board Chair, Tony Cable. “We are looking for a new school to replace Kelly Road so that’s the one we keep hammering away at and hoping for at this time.”
“This work should have been done and if this funding was not received we would have had to make an application again, possibly through our five-year capital plan.”
217 school improvement projects have been approved through the province’s School Enhancement Project.
An additional $20 million dollars was announced into the fund in September.
