The Cariboo Cougars earned a 3-3 tie in their first action in two weeks against the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds in Abbotsford on Saturday.
Fraser Valley jumped out to a 2-1 after 20 minutes courtesy of goals from Justin Hargrave and Brodi Stuart.
Devin Sutton replied for the Cougars.
There was no scoring in the second, but Cariboo poured on the pressure in the third when Mason Richey and Daine Dubois scored five minutes apart to give the Cougars a 3-2 lead.
Hargrave potted his second marker of the contest to even the score at 3.
Reid Perepeluk added 2 assists for the Cougars while Jayden Genberg also potted two helpers in the game.
Both teams play again on Sunday at 10AM.
