Cougars Charity Golf huge success

A final fundraising total has yet to be finalized but the 3rd annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf tournament (for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation) was an overwhelming success at the PG Golf and Curling Club. The players auction alone raised in excess of $30,000. The two previous tournaments raised over $68,000 towards health care in the north, including $43,000 in 2013. The goal this year was a grand total to surpass 50-grand. Over 20 former Cougars participated including Dan Hamhuis, Eric Brewer & Brett Connolly. All proceeds will be used to purchase a diagnostic SPECT CT camera.
