Barracudas 25th at Nationals

17-year-old Haley Black of the Prince George Barracudas and former PG Barracuda Danica Ludlow of Victoria have been selected to the Canadian Junior Swim Team (18 and under). Black and Ludlow are among 36 swimmers that will travel to Hawaii for the 2014 Junior Pan Pacific Championships with competition to be held August 27-30.

–The PG Barracudas set six club records, four by Katie Mann and two by Haley Black, at the 2014 Canadian Swimming Championships in Winnipeg. The five Barracudas finished 25th in the overall team standings. Black had the best individual result, second in the 200 fly “A” Final. Ex Barracuda, Danica Ludlow of Victoria, won gold in the 200 and 400-m freestyle and silver in the 800-m freestyle.
