The Cariboo Cougars were forced to take a split on Sunday after falling 4-2 against the Okanagan Rockets.
Both teams were tied in the opening 20 minutes with Tyler Maser potting one for the Cougars while Max Kryski replied for the Rockets.
A flurry of offence in the second led to a 3 goal outburst from Okanagan including a pair from Wyatt Head followed by Kryski’s second of the contest.
Darian Long responded for the Cougars before the end of the middle frame.
Rayman Bassi and Coleton Bilodeau led the Rockets with 3 points each in the victory.
Cariboo hosts the Kootenay Ice from Kin 1 Saturday and Sunday at 3:45 and 10:00 AM.
