Science World is coming to town, a part of Community Science Celebration

Science World is heading to Prince George for next weekend’s Community Science Celebration.

The Exploration Place will host the free event Saturday, January 21st to share its love of learning with citizens of all ages.

Deputy Director Amanda Smedley invites everyone out to learn from other a number of community groups, including Two Rivers Gallery, UNBC, CNC, and REAPS.

“There will be all sorts of fun, hands-on activities, demonstrations and there’s also going to be science shows every hour on the hour.”

Schedule:

10:30 AM Event opens

11:00 AM Science World Show

12:00 PM Chemistry Magic Show

1:00 PM Science World Show

2:00 PM The Exploration Place Show

3:00 PM Science World Show

There will also be free prize draws after each show. Doors close at 4:00 PM.
