Despite the above seasonal temperatures, Prince George is under a snowfall warning.
Ten centimetres of snow is expected to fall over the next 24 hours according to Jonathan Bau with Environment Canada.
“With the moisture that is expected to move into the Prince George area late this afternoon and into this evening (Monday) temperatures will hang around the zero degree mark and as a result the participation will begin as snow for today and tonight.”
Bau doesn’t expect the snow to last however as temperatures will rise to plus 8 degrees on Wednesday with rain in the forecast.
