Cadorette will bring her soccer skills to UNBC

Central defender Mikaela Cadorette of Richmond has committed to the UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team for the 2017 season.

Cadorette has been training with the Fusion FC program of the BC Soccer Premier League in Vancouver.

She cites a visit to UNBC as a catalyst in her decision to come to Prince George.

“The campus was the first thing that caught my eye,” she said. “Once I learned more about the school, I fell in love with the smaller class sizes, and the calm but professional atmosphere at the University.”

Cadorette plans to enter the Bachelor of Health Sciences Biomedical Studies program at UNBC, with the intention of entering medical school and will join her team for training camp this summer.

“I am a versatile player, and I have played everywhere from centreback to left striker,” Cadorette said in a news release.

“I hope to bring skill and physicality, along with my determination and loyalty to the team.
