RCMP Victims’ Services have wrapped up a week-long series of seminars for victims of violence in Prince George.
Friday morning, they presented a workshop on gangs; how people get sucked in and how they can improve services for people trying to get out.
Cst. Tyreman ran the workshop and says it’s challenging to help victims of gang activity since so much crime related to it isn’t reported.
She says there are court conditions that can protect victims and victims services’ can refer people to other resources in the city.
