Vanderhoof will be sky high this weekend

Many eyes will be in the sky tomorrow as Vanderhoof holds its annual Air Show. The third edition of the show will see around 40 aircraft whizzing around the town. Organizer Peet Vahi says that’s more aircrafts than they’ve had before.

“Including some other events that will really please the crowd, we’ve got some people coming from the Red Bull Motor Cycle Circuit and putting on a bit of an aerial demonstration of their own.”

Vahi says the gates at the airport will open at 11 am Saturday with the official show getting underway at one. He says their Air Hangar Dinner is sold out, but tickets to the dance will be available at the door.
