$10,000 could be yours if you buy a ticket in the Prince George Public Library’s 50/50 draw. The Friends of the Library Group is selling the tickets to raise money for the library’s Knowledge Garden. Spokesperson Andrea Palmer says they are only selling 2000 tickets.
“So we’re really excited about the odds,” says Palmer, “and we are all buying a few, and I have to say this is really exciting for us because its the first draw of this kind, and all the funds will to go towards completing our Knowledge Garden.”
Palmer says the draw for the raffle will be on October 1st. Ten dollar tickets can be found at the library and various businesses around town.
