Man arrested for dog shooting in Pineview

One man has been arrested in connection to a dog shooting in the Pineview area.

Prince George RCMP arrested a 79 year old man today for careless use of a firearm and uttering threats.

The investigation started on Wednesday when they got word that a dog was shot on Inga Road.

Two firearms were seized and the man was released with a promise to appear in court in October.

RCMP say further charges are possible and the investigation is continuing.

CN Centre celebrates 30 years

It was a Sunday fun day at the CN Centre as the City celebrated the arena's 30th anniversary. Plenty of residents got onto the ice at the arena for a free public skate, that went along with food, drinks, and cake.
