Fatal crash on Ness Lake Road

A man is dead after a single vehicle collision near Ness Lake early this morning.

Prince George RCMP received a report of a possible rollover collision on Ness Lake Road, near the intersection with Swan Road, at about 2:40 am.

Emergency responders attended the scene and found one vehicle that had gone off the road. A man was found nearby and, although first aid was administered, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police dog service team was called out to search for other possible casualties but none were found. The BC Coroners Service also attended. Alcohol is not considered to have been a factor in the crash at this time.

A section of Ness Lake Road was closed to traffic while investigators assess the scene.

More information will be provided when available.
