Chamber of Commerce announces Hell Yeah PG Ambassador Award

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Hell Yeah PG to launch a unique new award for this years Business Excellence Awards.

Chamber of Commerce CEO Christie Ray says the city is growing and evolving and this award will recognize that;

“The community is becoming more and more made up of young professionals and entrepreneurs.” said Ray, “The startup community is really big. So we wanted to do something that would resonate with those people and those businesses a little bit more.”

The Hell Yeah Prince George Ambassador award will recognize a commitment to positive behaviour in the city.

Christie Ray went on to mention that YXS was very quick to sponsor the award;

“Honestly within 15 minutes or a half an hour we had YXS calling us saying ‘we absolutely want to be a part of this award. This award fits so well with our corporate philosophy and our business practices; we need to be a part of this’”

You can nominate or vote for the recipient of the award on the Hell Yeah PG Facebook page. It will be awarded at the Business Excellence Awards Gala October 25th at the PG Civic Centre.
