New direct Prince George-Dawson Creek flights take off soon

Getting to and from Dawson Creek will be a lot quicker this summer.

Central Mountain Air will soon offer direct flights between the city and Prince George.

This will replace the current service that connects way down in Vancouver, which Marketing Manager Johnathan Richardson realizes will save you tons of time.

“It’s going to enable people to actually connect at the Prince George airport as opposed to having to go into the Vancouver area and back up to another destination,” he says, “we’re actually thinking that this will actually be a much more sustainable offering to both communities.”

Not only that, he believes this will make PG a transit hub.

“By stopping in Prince George, it’s going to open up a new market for people to travel to Prince George, or connect to somewhere else in British Columbia, or continue on to Vancouver.”

Flights will begin taking off July 9th.
