The Foothills Landfill has reopened after a brief closure due to a downed power line in the area.

However, BC Hydro is still dealing with the effects of the downed power line and more than 2,100 customers west of Rosemont Dr, east of Foothills Boulevard, south of Knight Crescent are still without power.
