Spruce Kings schedule filled with weekend home games

The BCHL has released the schedule for its 56th regular season.

The Prince George Spruce Kings play the first of 58 games in 2017-18 when they host the Chilliwack Chiefs on September 8th and 9th.

The Spruce Kings have 24 of their 28 games at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena (RMCA) on either a Friday or Saturday.

They also have two PG dates on a Wednesday, one on a Thursday and one on a Sunday afternoon.

The Spruce Kings play 12 of their games in October, 10 in both January and February, nine in November, and eight in September.

OCP back for public hearing on Wednesday

Prince George City Council will be hosting another public hearing for the Official Community Plan Wednesday evening.Other public hearings were held in March and April earlier this year, at which time around 20 residents spoke at the meeting to give their thoughts on the draft OCP. 

Oilers topple Spruce Kings with three-goal third period

After a strong showing in their home opener Friday, the Prince George Spruce Kings fell 5-2 to the Okotoks Oilers in front of 645 fans at Kopar Memorial Arena Saturday.
