The Canfor Canada Day Fireworks display will take place at 11 pm tomorrow.
In preparation, the City is closing Connaught Hill to both pedestrians and vehicles all day Saturday.
The City says Connaught is not the spot to watch the fireworks. The gate will be locked and volunteers will be on site to escort anyone trying to head up the hill back down.
Instead, you can head down to Canada Games Plaza for the Canada 150 Heat Wave concert beginning at 7 and catch the fireworks from the Plaza as well.
