Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Prince George, saying the current conditions could produce a dangerous storm.

We could see damaging winds and hail along with torrential rain this afternoon and evening. Intense lightning is also likely if the storm arrives.
Flash flooding could result and water may pool on the roads in areas so drivers are advised to proceed with caution.
