The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George (RDFFG) says the fire in the McBride Timber Road South area has grown overnight.
The blaze is now 10 hectares in size.
The RDFFG says crews have made good progress, but the evacuation alert is still in effect until further notice. It’s described as a precautionary measure.
