Hitmen promote ex-Cougars GM

Former Prince George Cougars General Manager Dallas Thompson has been named Director of Player Personnel for the Calgary Hitmen.

Thompson was a British Columbia scout for Calgary’s Western Hockey League (WHL) team for the past two seasons.

He also spent 16 seasons with the Cougars (1998-2014), including the last 10 as General Manager.

The Hitmen have hired Dallas Ferguson as their new coach, while Jeff Chynoweth has taken over as GM.
