The UNBC women’s soccer program made a splash by committing midfielder Kiana Swift for the 2018-19 season.
The senior at Mt. Douglas Secondary School in Victoria says joining the Timberwolves is a thrilling step in her soccer career.
“I’m really excited to be a part of the UNBC soccer program, and be part of the community in Prince George. The girls were all really genuine, and each of them was passionate about soccer. That was a trait I was looking for in a program when I made my decision.”

T-Wolves Head Coach Neil Sedgwick has worked with Swift since she was 12 years old, and lists her competitiveness and dedication as factors in her path from youth soccer to the BC Provincial squad.
“She has proven herself at every level as a strong decision maker and a strong contributor. She has an incredible work ethic, and a high level of maturity as a soccer player and an individual.”
Swift currently plays with the Vancouver Island Wave program and trains with Epic Academy in Victoria.
