Cost of stepping outside CN Centre to smoke is a closed door

Prior to the July 22nd Bob Dylan concert, the arena posted a Facebook reminder of the new smoking policy but was met with public backlash
In September 2016, BC introduced a smoking, tobacco, and vapour products control act, and several cities have followed with their venues.
“This is something we’ve been talking about for many years. The policy is being used at venues in Victoria, Vancouver, and Edmonton; they’ve all adopted it, so this is something everyone is moving towards.”

The policy applies all CN Centre functions, such as hockey games, concerts, other events.
