Williams Lake Doctor running CNC Clinic for fellow evacuees

Dr. Jolien Steyl has been running a clinic at CNC 

What makes her different is that she’s an evacuee

She and her family left Williams Lake about two weeks ago
She believes being an evacuee has helped her treat her patients
“People needed me. I had no choice, it wasn’t even a question.”
Health Minister Adrian Dix visited Dr. Steyl and others at CNC
“Just to celebrate the people who work in the health system, people who work for Northern Health and Interior Health who have done just a spectacular job here.”
Steyl is returning to Williams Lake on Thursday

Downtown Prince George is bringing back a summer favourite event this weekend.  On Saturday, Downtown Prince George is hosting the annual Downtown Summerfest, bringing food, entertainment, shopping, and other activities to Veterans Plaza at City Hall.  "I think I'm most excited just to see the community come together and be downtown, and really just have a great time at this event," said Downtown Prince George Executive Director Chrisie Berry.
