The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) has announced the evacuation order for Williams Lake has been reduced to an alert.
Highway 97 has also re-opened from Prince George through to Cache Creek as per Drive BC.
Residents returning home are being advised wildfires are still posing threats to surrounding areas, and to be prepared for sudden changes, such as another evacuation order.
