Despite deal, teachers' pickets staying up in PG

Even though a deal has been reached, you’ll still notice picket lines up around Prince George schools.
First Vice President Richard Giroday with the District Teachers’ Association says picket lines are staying up because the agreement is still not final until it is voted on by the teachers’ union,

As for when schools in the PG will open, Giroday says every district is different and he doesn’t want to see the city rushed into opening its doors bringing kids into a chaotic environment.
BCTF spokesperson Nancy Knickerbocker announced a vote is expected Thursday, leaving the possibility for schools to open their doors by Friday, or Monday.
