Prince George Hospice Society hosting Bucket List Gala tonight

A lot of people in Prince George will have the chance to scratch off an item from their Bucket List.

The Prince George Hospice Society (PGHS) is hosting the first ever Bucket List Gala tonight at the Prince George Civic Centre.

The fundraiser should have something for everyone. “We’ve got some great raffles, we have some great silent auction items – there is so much that is going to be going on that you will be sad if you miss it,” said Donna Flood, executive director.

The PGHS awarded several goals from people’s lists leading up the gala.

Flood adds they’ve approved some interesting items over the past few weeks. “From white water rafting to skydiving and someone even thought of decluttering their house, which I personally would love and false eyelashes because that was on somebody’s bucket list. So that is really cool.

The event gets underway at 7:00 pm.

The keynote speaker is MTV’s Ben Nemtin.
