The City of Prince George made some upgrades to Cpl. Darren Fitzpatrick Bravery Park this summer.
The one new feature is a fenced dog park, which is a first for Hart residents.
It comes with a pet waste area along with new trails and upgraded lighting that will be completed later this year.
The park officially opened last September thanks to a partnership between the city and the Hart Community Association.
It was renamed back in 2011 in memory of Cpl. Fitzpatrick who was killed during a mission in Afghanistan.
About $200,000 will be spent on the upgrades.
