Downtown park renovations have a goal in mind

Millennium park is getting a bit of a face lift as they work to increase the safety and enjoyment of the park for everyone.

Some shrubbery work and the removal and replacement of certain trees should help open and liven things up in the park.

Corporal Craig Douglass with the Prince George RCMP detachment says the improvements should help them as well:

“It has hills, mounds, trees, lots of places to hide, lots of places to stash things and that sort of thing. So these are the issues that the Prince George RCMP have had with this park, and it seems to be a hang around for drug users, dealers and things like that from time to time”

Work is scheduled for the rest of this week.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
