Canadian journalist Michael Landsberg will be in the northern capital on February 19th.
Landsberg is the host of ‘Off The Record’, Canada’s longest running sports talk shows.
He’ll be attending the fourth annual UNBC Timberwolves Legacy Breakfast and will be talking about his struggles with mental health.
Landsberg speaks publicly about his own battle with depression and tries to help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Michael Landsberg, as he shares his important message at the Legacy Breakfast. Every year, this event grows before our eyes, and has quickly become a hugely anticipated day in Prince George.” Said UNBC Director of Athletic and Recreation, Loralyn Murdoch in a statement.
In the three years the Timberwolves Legacy Breakfast has run, they’ve been able to raise over $140,000 for UNBC students and athletes.
