Prince George Cougars forward Vladislav Mikhalchuk has been named to Team Belarus for the 2018 World Junior Championship.
The 18-year-old is fifth in team scoring and seventh among rookies in the WHL, with 15 points (7G, 8A) in 23 games.
He was selected by the Cougars in the first round, 54th overall of the 2017 CHL Import Draft.
In the 2016-17 season, Mikhalchuk notched 35 points (14G, 21A) in 31 games with the Belarus Under-18 National Team.
The World Juniors take place December 26th to January 5th in Buffalo, New York.
