Operation Red Nose in PG off to solid start after opening weekend

Operation Red Nose in Prince George provided 156 safe rides home during its opening weekend of their holiday campaign.

Two factors led to the busy nights Friday and Saturday.

“Rudy our mascot went out and got some color teams ahead of time and had to all the information and talked to patrons and let them know that we are available to give him a safe ride home and that turned into rides and the RCMP’s Counterattack was out and about with their roving road checks,” says Andrea Johnson, Spokesperson.

Operation Red Nose provided four more rides during the opening weekend this year than in 2016.
