SD57 Board Of Education Members Pleased With The Progress They’ve Made

The ballots were cast and the names were picked for the SD57 board members.

The final results saw no change as all members will remain in their positions on the board.

“To be elected by acclamation to complete this term as chair is a huge honour and I look forward to working with trustee Perrin as Vice-Chair for the remainder of this term.” Said Chairperson Tim Bennett.

“This last years a little unique in the fact that, with the election moved up we’re really only a half year away from kind of getting into that election mod. So we as a board have a very short time to get through and finish everything we started in this mandate.”

The next election will be held October 20th, 2018.

Bennett added he’s looking forward to working with his colleagues in the new year and he’s happy they all voted for him to remain chairperson.
